I wash them the same way I was the rest of my truck and they look fine. Over a year old now.View attachment 16918 is there anything special you guys been using that works well to wipe off or clean the plastic fenders? I just did a quick wash at the local self serve and didn’t want to use products that may damage or change the color.
that picture is after the spray down, almost looks like the mud stained the plasticI wash them the same way I was the rest of my truck and they look fine. Over a year old now.
So no scrub down? Soap, water and a soft wash brush or wash mit has worked well for me. I don’t like using plastic shine like armor all. Seems to me after you use it you’re always going to have to use it to get it black again. It turns it a grayish whitish color after a few years. The plastic is never the same after it’s applied.Tha

I heard peanut butter works.
Haha it’s Dug approvedThat’s the second mention of peanut butter from you in 3 days. I think you’re just trying to get someone to put peanut butter on their truck. [emoji23]
Yea just checked it out looks legit.Haha it’s Dug approved
Give it a scrub with a good auto detail soap and water with a soft wash brush or mit. It will come off and look like new again. No need to use anything extra on brand new plastic.Yea just checked it out looks legit.
Yea it was just a power spray down with all soap spray and stuff, no wipe down, mitts, or brush. Just wanted get all the mud off before it stays forever.
[emoji23] +1Never had a problem with armorall my plastic still looks great but I also don’t have those ugly black fenders to keep clean [emoji28]
