I’m totally not trying to sound snobby but why get a prerunner... trucks are suppose to be taken off road and to me that means locking it in 4x4 and just going and forgetting about the world.
Yes ,, desert running truck at high speeds = prerunnerPickup trucks are really for towing and hauling. Not everyone wheels and not all terrain requires 4wd. The deserts here are ran in 2wd trucks at high speed.
That’s a lot of money spent to have no funI wish I had AWD for street use. One tire fire and supercharger is no fun.

Yep being stuck between a ecopoop stang and a civic is pathetic. The civic has traction control which is almost just like AWD.It’s no fun either way. I’m faster than a Ecopoop stang but the new Civic non SI but with the turbo is slightly faster. Pathetic!
Years ago I was looking at an Allroad and the sales guy kept trying to sale me a civic on his lot. When I said no I want an AWD vehicle he said “well the civic has traction control which is just like AWD” I looked at him and left.

What mountain and resort?Sorry I guess I should have thought about different terrain. Being in the pacific NW My friends and I tend to find places way out of the way that you tend to use 4x. I’m also a big snow guy and am up on the slopes as much as possible.
