Rattling or knocking sound

I have a 2012 tacoma, v6 4wd trd sport. I noticed a rattling or knocking sound when accelerating around 1500 to 2000 rpm. If I put premium gas in it goes away. I changed the spark plugs and that quieted the sound but it's still there. I hate to have to pay for premium gas every time so has anybody ran into this problem or know a fix for it?

Sounds like a timing issue. You may have to take it to the dealer to re-set the timing as sounds like too far advanced so you are getting knock or pre-ignition.
