rear brakes

I had my rear brakes done at the dealer ship not very long ago and they are making a noise now like the drum is not round. I have never done rear brakes so I'm looking at this kit to change it over to disc. any shops in the Houston area that you know that can do this ?

You will also need the proper master cylinder so you don’t lose rear braking power.

Disc are just easier to work on

For years these kits have caused decreased braking lol.
Not sure if things have changed

Drums are fairly easy to work on. You just have to attempt it.

If the dealer did your brakes not that long ago and they are making noise take it back and make them fix it.
Drums aren’t bad once you do a set. They also last a long time so it’s not like you’re doing them every couple year's.

Yep. Drums last forever. Tried and true. Rear braking is minimal in a pickup so they do the job.
Like @OR17TRD said, the dealership should fix them since they’re jacked up after they changed them.

I looked and they were done in may 2017. I’ll just wait till after Christmas and call them to get them to see what it is making the noise
