Recall Notice

Just checking to see if anyone else has received a recall notice? Certain 2012-2013 Tacoma & 2012 RAV4 vehicles for Brake Actuator Reprograming.

I don't consider it to be to big an issue since it just involves a software update. Will call dealer and make the appointment in the next few weeks.

What is this? Would a 2014 be part of it an if so how would I find out if I gave that issue

I was just at the dealer today getting my 2013 Tacoma serviced and they knew nothing about this recall.

Toyota will notify you if your truck is included in the recall.

Hopefully theyll get back to the basic indescrutable run forever trucks that made them famous. I wanna get 500000miles out my 07 and im at 61000 right now...

Some people have over 300K. I don't think the 4.0 is as reliable as the 3.4 though.

Whats so bad with the 4.0? My 07 hasnt given me any bad problems... Just would love better rear brake pads. (I replaced my CRAP front ones because the were hardly there.)

So mine is good still? A mechanic in one of my classes was telling me the best tacomas were before i think it was 2011. (Whenever the changed some stuff on the second gens is when the screwed up)
