What do you guys recommend for a good battery? I have a cheap one in my Tacoma for the mean time but I'm gonna be getting a better one, recommend any?

Nothing. Their AGM Platinum is still going strong. My Diehard went out after about 1.5 to 2 years.
Duralast platinum for sure. Quick story. I had one of these in my old Porsche project car, it's a runner. Bought it in 2014. I put it on a tender for the winter. Went to fire up the car to move it and nada. Brought it to AutoZone - thing was measuring as an open circuit!
They have a 3 year replacement warranty. I was on month 34. They gave me a brand new replacement for 0 charge!
