Stereo black out

Yes mine used to do it I brought it in they did not find an update but they reset my stereo. Here's what I did and I have not had it crash yet. Go to HD radio settings, turn it to HD radio only. This way it won't try and use your cell phone connection to update current weather. I did a bunch of reading and some people found this to help, I have not had it crash since I did this. Also, i erased my weather app off of my iPhone. Try doing both of these after you reset your stereo, hopefully you will have the same luck I have found.
