No, & can you elaborate more on this "surging idle".. Can you get some audio/video up so's we can hear it ?...


Some possible causes: Vaccum leak (probably my first guess) dirty MAF/throttle positioner/throttle body...

Got it, clogged coolant line to manifold..damnest thing.
 
If there is a surging idle after coolant stop leak. Very good chance it clogged the small rubber coolant line going into the intake. Hope it helps someone, it was hard earned after individual component (egr, tps ect.) testing and vacuum line replacement.
 
Glad you got it OP, I'd a never figured that line would produce nothing but a leak...
