Has anyone done research on if it is possible to protect your Tacoma against an EMP event? Is it doable or are we all going to end up with very expensive planters?

Technically if you could encase all of the electronics in a Faraday Cage it would electrically isolate those components from the effects of an EMP.
 
In the event of an EMP we’re all pretty well screwed anyway.
If you’re really worried about that I’d get a old Bronco, Blazer, or something with no electronics and build it up for your Bugout Truck.
