Hose clamps are cheap.
Nothing is antitheft, so anything that can deter is good.

I just use a pop n lock and hose clamp.... been 8yrs

The pop n lock is far better than just a hoop lock imho..... the pop n lock can help keep the tailgaite closed. This keeps ur tail lights safe. Otherwise it takes a minute or so to spin 2 bolts on each side and yank em out.
