Tire size options

I'm currently running stock dunlop tires on my 2014 double cab prerunner 2.7l automatic 4speed. I'm looking to buy bigger tires but don't really want the truck to fill slow. What size should I go with? 265/70r16?

I have 265 75 16 and didn't notice any power loss

Here is a calculator. you can enter different tire and wheel information and toward the bottom it will give you the weight differences. Obviously heavier will cause less power and less braking. http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

Load range will determine weight from there.

I ended up going with 265/70R16 Cooper discoverer A/T3 rides a lot better and looks good to.

Those coppers look nice!! I replaced the stock Dunlops with General Grabber HTS on my 09 Tacoma. Better traction with good all-season performance. Also not to bad off road.
