You’ll get a lot of opinions. BFG KO2 is always a top pick.
Basically it’s gonna be: what you like, what your budget is, and if they’ll be your daily driver tires or a winter only tire.
If you are planning to buy a set of all-terrain tires, I suggest that you go for Toyo Tires' Open Country A/T II. It works well in snow, mud and dirt roads. I have it on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner.
I had Dynopro ATMs before and they were pretty good. They weren't too aggressive so no noise on the street. I've heard the Cooper Discovery AT3 is good.
Round, black, and full of air. Tread preferred.
Never seen anyone mention Maxxis. Youngest boy has a set on his GMC and they are performing well. Well enough that I will look into them when the time comes.
These are less expensive than the Michelin version, and rated higher. I'm thinking of replacing my Toyo Open Country with them.
