2008 DCLB needs a bed cover. I'm thinking of getting the BAKFlip G2 but was wondering what other hard covers are good. I would like something that can fold up so I can access my bed and I prefer a hard cover versus a fabric/soft cover. Any suggestions?

That's going to be your best bet. I'm looking at upgrading mine. I have a Rugged Cover trifold. But have been looking at the BAK G2 as well.
