Toyota alarm system

Anyone out there got the Toyota alarm system option on their truck? Good investment? Waste of money?
 
I decided to go a/m and get a remote start and tailgate alarm too, but that's me, never really looked in to the Toyota one either
 
Mine supposed to have one i have not went under the dash to check it yet.
If it does i dont care too much for it i slam my tailgate closed and it does not go off.
