Toyota Discontinues TRD T|X Baja and X-Runner for 2014

In a move that can ONLY be described as disappointing, we’ve learned that the very handsome TRD T|X Baja Series option package and the X-Runner package have been discontinued. According to our information, there is no replacement package coming for either truck.

Bahahahahahaha! The Baja package was a joke anyway. I saw one guy on TW burn 1500 on the suspension when 300 more would have bought a full Fox resi kit.

Toyota tried to go the Craptor route but they didn't really do anything to the Baja. They could have done more but they left it in double poser status since it is posing as a Craptor which is posing to be a LT truck.

if toyota wants to release a good offroad model, they should release a good offroad model.

though, word through the pipes is that they actually are working with a "major offroad shock" company to release a new model sometime; can only hope where that goes

I've only seen 2 Baja models on the street and not one in the desert. They can get rid of it. The X runner was OK though.
