TRD Pro vs. Baja Suspension

Do u do high speed desert stuffs?

If not, just get bilstein 5100 and eibach coils, same setup up front with smaller body iirc.

Again, if ur not doing high speed desert runs, just get 5100 rears, odds are u wont need the resi.

U can always find comparable parts to anything labeled "trd" and usually cheaper since trd doesnt actually make a single thing. This means the components are on a shelf somewhere minus the trd logo.

Nope, not many high speed desert runs planned for my future. I just like the idea that it is all packaged together, and covered by Toyota warranty. Just thinking that buying everything aftermarket separately, Toyota will have that mentality of "those aftermarket parts cause problems we are not etc."
Cost wise I know there are less expensive kits.

Toyota does not cover wear items such as shocks unless it's a manufacturing defect and even then this wouldn't fall under the truck's warranty since this is a non stock product for your truck.

*buzzer sound* nope, toyota cannot say **** unless they PROVE the part was at fault.

Ur going for a small lift that many of us are at or beyond with zero issues.

Want it packaged together?
Get a kit from toytec or downsouth motorsports.

Too many ppl believe trd know how to build ****, and toyota wont honor warranties.

I have a 13 Baja and I am running the stock/aftermarket bilstein/eibach springs set up. I will switch to the Fox set up when the warranty is up and I do a lot of high speed desert runs, as it is my chase truck. I am pleased with how it works but after an hour of good hard running they start to fade out. The street ride is a 5, off road a 7, comparatively. Obviously bypasses will help in the front, but that has to wait for the upgrade to fox and a modification to the upper arms. The last FJ I built for a friend with the fox's rides a bit squishy on the road but handles beautifully in the dunes. So if you got the $$, go with the Fox, if not, I will be selling my set up before Xmas for a discount...:)
