What did you do with your Taco today

While coming back from grocery shopping today, saw my old 2001 tundra still on the road...a bit more crusty, but it still sounded good. Not too shabby for an old farm truck now.

Yikes, how are you feeling now? One of my old neighbors had a triple bypass, and never left the hospital. An employee that retired from my shop had one too, but never fully recovered, living out his last couple years on a cabinet full of meds. Because I had a stoke over a decade ago, I get an ekg, and stress tested every 2 years.

Went to get in my truck this noon that was parked in the hot sun to do an errand. I burned my hands on the steering wheel getting in. When I fired the truck up, the temp on the dash said 112 degrees. It feels about a 100, or so outdoors today. One more day of extreme heat, and humidity tomorrow before it's back in the 80's.

Doing better every day. Hospital stay was rough. I was told the procedure would have me back home in 5-6 days. Complications kicked in…spent my first 7 days in critical care floor. Then spent another 7 days on recovery floor. Definitely would not want to go through that again. But doing better now. Going back to my part time job this Thursday.

Well, good to hear your still breathing. Many don't come out of that, Surgeon once told me no matter how minor an operation is, there's always a chance something can go wrong. No operation is considered minor.
I've been living with a small brain aneurism for years due to a couple concussions that surgeons want to fix. No way I'm letting them. Imo, the risk doesn't equal the reward. I'd rather get an mri every year to see if the aneurism has gotten larger. So far the medication I take to keep my bp lower than average has kept it from getting worse.

Swapped out the 2018 Sport wheels for a new set of five 17x8.5" Icons. Yes, I detest black and bronze wheels!

No, that truck has a lift. A guy I know has a lift in his gen3...said it rides like crap after vs the stock height. Just comes down to wanting more aggressive looks vs function. My gen3 is still all stock right down to the tires. Its got a very comfortable ride, and going to stay that way.
