Wheel and Tire Recommendations?

New to the forum, and Tacomas. Just bought a 2014 TRD Offroad. It has an Old Man Emu kit underneath, so the height is where I want it, but I'm looking for wheels to give it a little wider stance, and tires that I can rely on in the mountains.

2.5-3” lift if you want a wider stance I’d get -6 offset and put 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 tires on. I wouldn’t go 18”. To much rim not enough rubber for me.

That's a 2 1/2" lift which is before I went to 3" lift.

i got a 2006 tacoma reg. cab 2 wheel drive. my buddy has some 275/65/18 inch from his toyota truck. can i make these fit on mine. i got 15 inch 5 lug stock and lookin to go bigger

2wd 5 lug. His 18” wheels are 5 lugs?
