How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

Came out of the supermarket after doing my friday morning grocery shopping to find a ratty silver sr gen2 taco parked next to my truck. This gen2 gave a whole new meaning to scrap. I don't think the boneyard would even take it, as stuff was literally hanging off the chassis just waiting for someone following it to run over whatever hit the ground. Idk what it is that my truck that seems to cause other junky taco's to gravitate next to it....gotta be the color.

i do not think i would ever park next to something like that LMAO
It drives a lot better than it looks. You'd enjoy how smooth, and responsive those texas edition tacoma's run vs those older taco's. Best move I ever made unloading that high mileage gas guzzling tundra. Only thing I regret is why I waited so long.

My 28.5 yr old taco had no issue whizzing by a red 3rd Gen on the rural highway today doing near 90mph to pass safely before a no passing zone came into the picture

At 90 mph, even if those gen1's can barely go that fast, feel like they're about to disintegrate. I've had my gen3 very quickly up to 105 mph....after that they have a speed limiter. It's likely one of those nanny features to save the driver from themselves.
