I don't remember for sure, but this might be an option in the Carista app. You'd need a bluetooth OBD2 adapter as well, and the app is expensive but there is a free trial. Otherwise, the dealer should be able to change the volume, if it is in fact an adjustable setting, but unless they do it...

You can also change it from full-screen to pop up, so it only tells you you have a new message but not what it says. Then, if you want to read it you can go into messages through the phone menu.
