My 2010 Tacoma makes a clicking/popping noise when I shift from drive to reverse or reverse to drive. Had it checked at the dealership and they said it's a combination of the pads releasing and the hubs (4x4) reversing direction. They said it's completely normal. First Tacoma I've ever owed...
