Thanks. This a big improvement over the ford hub system. The shifter to engage 4 wheel drive in my last truck was too difficult for my wife to engage. She really likes the rotary switch. In fact my wife likes this new Tacoma better than her 2012 Grand Cherokee

Coming from a 2001 F-150 4x4, how does the Tacoma 4 wheel drive engage. I know the dash board switch, but does the truck need to be stopped? Do the front axle have hubs that "spin out" when 4 wheel drive is engaged? Do I need to do anything special when I disengage 4 wheel drive?
