I'm not mechanically enclined so, I really don't know what that means. If you have a lead foot you may not be letting the converter lock up.

Switch to AMSOIL Signature Series and change only every 25,000 miles ,change filters every 12,500 miles! Synthetic does not seep, thats a myth! save money in the long run !I have a 2003 Taco 4 wheel drive with about 90,000 miles. No rough off driving. Thinking of changing to Mobile 1 synthetic. I think I remember that after several thousand miles, that the tolerances created over the miles, will let the much thinner synthetic oil leak through all the gaskets, etc. that the regular oil does not seep through. Usually short under 10 mile runs. Maintained regularly, and at the crazy 3000 miles, and I am getting to old to do it at the 3K. miles. Knot that is probably not necessary! Do I have too many miles to switch to the Mobile 1 synthetic? Thanks, Randy.

Email Blackstone Labs for answers with questions then and send a sample !Try it.
The old issue was..... dino oils detergents would cause seals to swell, then when synthetic was used, it would seep past the gaps because it didnt cause the seals to swell.
I wouldnt go past 5k miles on synthetic WITHOUT an oil analysis from blackstone labs. Otherwise ur just assuming ur oil is good. Also dont forget, just because annoil may be synthetic doesnt mean an oil filter has less work to do and will last extended periods.
Again, i suggest an oil analysis instead of blindly taking suggestions of 10, 15, 20k+ change intervals... its highly dependent on evironment, current engine condition, driving habits, and who knows what else..... lets leave that to those scientists.
Also send a sample to AMSOIL ?Email Blackstone Labs for answers with questions then and send a sample !

Upon purchase of my 2012 4.0L Tacoma prerunner .. it was averaging 17 mpg ... After switching to Amsoil Signature Series 0W30, Amsoil oil filter, and using only one oz of their Amsoil Performance Improver (API) per tank of gas for six tanks ... I am now getting 20.5 mpg ... Quite a nice improvement! ... I plan on changing the trans fluid and diff to amsoil also...
Sweet, 23/24 mpg sounds good.I experienced a mpg increase upon switching to amsoil 0w30, using their PI (performance improver) for several tanks, and a K&N air filter... yes
