Cant say there's any crazy vibration with mine (2016 SR5). I did read about a recall on blower motors though. I'll see if I can find the thread. For some reason I decided to turn my A/C on its highest speed for the first time and this crazy vibration starts going on. A/C works fine on every speed just acts like a turbo on high speed. Is this normal? View attachment 21670
My 2017 just blows like it should no vibrations or extra noises. The vibration is from debris in the blower motor fan, acorns, leaves and what not. Remove the fan, inspect it for debris, clean it out if any and reinstall.
In the glove box behind the cover. Pull the filter out and check it.Is it under the glovebox?

Yeah that’s what I was trying to say. When you pull the filter out is when acorns and stuff fall into the fan. I work at a dealership and when we would replace the cabin air filter we would always have to put the fan on high to make sure there was no vibration/noise afterwards.
Yours may have the updated blower motor alreadyI looked up my Taco and it has no open recalls or service campaigns. Here is the Toyota site where I looked:

I went on Toyota’s website and I entered my vin#. It said early September 2018 they sent out recall notices for blowers and mine is unfortunately on the list [emoji17]
I had heard about the recall......checked my VIN on Toyota's website......yep, was on there. Called the dealership......took 'em 2 months to get the new blower motor in.......went in a couple weeks ago to get it done........got it done and no problems. 2 days ago received the official letter from Toyota saying mine was on the recall and to call the dealership to set up the replacement! Hopefully they'll see the recall and get it done. When it goes out on 'em or starts rattling they'll know about the recall then.I just received the official letter for the ‘17 Sport yesterday.
Let’s hope the new owner either goes to the dealership and they address it, or checks for recalls intermittently.
