We made it! Had sirius xm on classic rock. Dr kept waking up n switching channels! Lol
 
Just called the service department, they ordered the recalled part and will call to schedule when it arrives. I'm guessing this part has something to do with switching from warm to cool because that quit working last night... the fan blows fine, just not warm... Hence, confusion about this "blower motor recall"...

C, my understanding was it was 'possible' the blower motors could go out.....I actually debated on replacing mine cause there was nothing wrong that I could tell but decided to have 'em do it anyways since it was free. The temp control problem you're having is probly sumthin' else we could possibly deal with. The blower motor is evidently dispersed out on a first come/first serve basis.....took 'em 2 months to get mine in.......hope yours gets here faster than mine did!

Yeah I haven't done much reading on this, just know they said mines on the list. Since I'm bringing it in anyway, they can figure it out. Haha

Although, if it's gonna take 2 months, I'm def gonna need heat before then! I probably rattled something loose, wouldn't be the first time...

Yeah, mine took 2 months but maybe they're gettin' caught up and yours will be there quick. Then again, yours may work well for many years and have no problems. Think they had some doubt on the manufacture of 'em so they decided to replace 'em all. Definitely gonna need heat before too long with that snow you posted. We're gettin down into the 20s so definitely gonna have 'er cranked up to stay warm.

It might be... The 3 knobs all run through 1 plug though. But I also see more than 1 fan up under there, I think I see 3, and it doesn't actually look like any of them have anything to do with the heater core. The one that comes on doesn't anyway. So if the blower that's supposed to be blowing through the heater core isn't working and is the one being recalled, that would totally explain it.... but I seriously don't know. I hope to talk to the service guy in the am, so far we've only left voicemails. If I knew that this problem is the right problem to have I'd feel better. Lol
 
3 fans?.........I think the one they're recalling is thru the glove compartment under the cabin filter.......Hmmmm.......could your temp switch be bad?........looks like a simple plug-n-play if that's it.......
