2006 Tacoma tranny trouble

The outcome of the shop deal will determine if I have it shipped to me or not. The Tacoma is in CO. and I'm in NC.

So, I have a 2006 Tacoma TRD Sport, it's a 6-speed manual, and my transmission is going out. I had the dealership drop the fluid to see if it would prolong the problem until I can find a new transmission or find someone to rebuild it. I was wondering if any of you guys knew where I can have it rebuilt or find one that would fit my existing engine? I live in North Carolina if that helps...

Does the dealership do rebuilds or do they wanna replace with new?
