My curiosity is am I able to play audio from my phone to my car stereo via Bluetooth? Anyone else out there with 2010 stock stereo able to do this?

You can. Go to audio on your stereo and hit Bluetooth. You'll see it loading and then should be good to go. Or just check your owners manual

I'd say time for an upgrade. Do you have JBL? If not you can look around for a newer one on eBay. That will let you play songs through Bluetooth. Or just buy a new aftermarket.

Yes the stock stereo is JBL. It sucks I'm already having problems with it.

I'd go aftermarket. Cheaper. And better. Check crutchfield. They will have what you need.

They have adapters for steering wheel controls. Your backup camera will be fine. It's in your rear view right?

I don't blame you. I think 2011 was the last year for the camera integrated into the rear view. There's got to be a way.
