2014 lowering kit questions

Just wanting to get opinions on how to do it. Im lookin for 2-3in drop in front... Ive "heard" about ball joint flip... Does it work for a 2014? What about doin short springs? Spindles?

Im not somone just kickin questions around... I am more than qualified to do the work and eventually the truck will be bagged... But As soon as i find a solution i do intend to buy the parts needed to just lower it for now.. I have a budget of $500... Whatcha guys got in mind?
 
No offense but lowering a new Taco is not the most popular thing to do these days. Might try some of the bagged truck forums?
 
I'd say you should look into the differences with your current suspension and that of an X-runner. Then you'll know which parts are needed to achieve glory!!
