Btw..S mode is the same gear the truck is currently in. Shifting to S mode the truck 4th by default. So you are saying just by doing this it helps? I see no difference. You can bump it up to 5th and 6th Gear if that's what you're referring to

Sometimes the truck responds differently in “S” mode than it does in drive when shifting from first to second. It feels like the transmission is in sixth gear and when you punch it, then it will shift to first. This is when I take off after stopping. I haven’t had this happen in “S” mode or with the “SSP”, which I love.

Thanks for the info. Trip to the dealer was a waste of time. Fluid level was OK .

Going to chalk it up to it being normal. Dealership says the new 6-speed is different than the older 5 speed automatics
