I think the new 2018 pro will have blind spot warning and some other non usable functions lol. It won't have lane assist.
Yes they will they are to break if your to close to the vehicle in front of you.

Take this with a grain of salt.
Was talking to my Toyota guy about the 2018 Tacoma and he was saying that they aren’t lifting and are recommending not to lift any new Tacoma due to the TSS-P. The sensors would be affected and would become a safety issue. The Pro model is not going to have the fox suspension they are doing a bilstein shock that’s basically the same as the off-road and won’t have the extra 1” of lift.
I’m sure they won’t but we willI’m sure they could engineer around it. But that makes sense.
Toyota made it official today: http://toyotanews.pressroom.toyota....nture+toyota+safety+sense+p+across+lineup.htm
I have a 13 year old. I know people laugh about all this safety stuff but when you have kids within striking distance of driving you start to appreciate it.
Like a T. rexOn some pedestrian systems the ped needs to keep moving or the system doesnt "see" them.
Especially now that @J.R. just confirmed that you can’t lift them or modify them like you can the 2017.I’m kind of glad I got the 17 instead of an 18. I’m not a fan of the cars that can steer themselves. [emoji23]
I think it's 2018 models unless it's like the Avalon etc. My 2017 tacoma off road doesn't have any of that junk also, thank God! And not being able to put a lift on the truck is nuts. I think this will scare away a lot of people looking to get the 2018 models. Good for us 2017 owners and the resale value[emoji12]I was told by a toyota sales stating that it is the policy for toyota since 2017. But, my 2017 tacoma and Toyota Yaris don't have it on. So I believe it is only for selected vehicles.
As the owner of a 2018 Tacoma I'm here to tell you the TSS-P system is awesome when you're getting road head... just sayin' the new system does have it's advantagesI’m kind of glad I got the 17 instead of an 18. I’m not a fan of the cars that can steer themselves. [emoji23]
