Welcome to the forum. Access cab and double cab in the short bed have the same wheel base. They will perform the same off road. It really depend on if you need the cab space or the bed space. If you need both get the double cab long bed but it’s wheel base is longer than the others so when off-roading you’ll have to keep that in mind.New member here

I see lots of 4 doors like a family truck
Makes me wonder why instead of the access cab
Is the 4 door better at off roading?

They are? Haha. My guess would be that there's a little more weight on the rear end of the double cabs. Pretty sure they have the same wheel base, so that's the only difference.New member here
