Hey! Just got my first tacoma. Loving it.
I’m trying to find the best way to black out the Toyota logo on my truck? Is it possible? Can I plastic dip it? Or will that mess up the sensor?

Welcome! That emblem on the front of your grill controls the speed sensor. Don't want to cover that with anything.

Its bad enough when driving through snow squalls and that grill sensors keeps activating the dash led. I get to the point at times i'd like to rip that entire crap out and circular file it.

I used some dark tint vinyl film on mine. Sorta like the window kind, but used for outside applications. Does not totally black out the logo, but does reduce the brightness a great deal. It does not interfere with the operation of the sensors. All is working fine.

Where did you get the vinyl?

The vinyl that is used is from a company called lamin-x.com. I got it through a local window tint business but I think you can get it directly from their web site.

I bought letter decals from Jhazeauto. The decals are excellent quality, very easy to install and look great.
