91 or 93 tune?

So I have a 2017 Tacoma Sport DCLB... ordered the OV tune and it should be here hopefully tomorrow.
I live in Washington state where Supreme/Premium gas is 92 octane, which is what I run. I just don't know which tune I should use (91/93 octane)...and I've messaged OV tune directly with no response.
Does anyone have any input for me?

DO NOT RUN A HIGHER OCTANE TUNE THAN THE FUEL YOU'RE USING!!!

You'll spit pieces of head gasket out of the tail pipe...

Run the 91 tune for 92 octane.

As far as I know, you can only get 93 in the south east, that tune only exists for them.

ALSO!!!!!!!-----

PURGE YOUR TANK WITH 91/92 BEFORE LOADING THE TUNE!!! As in, fill up with 92, when you get to 1/4 tank, fill back up with 92 and load your tune.

If you decide to switch back to 87, you don't need to purge the tank, although I'd wait till just before you go fill up with 87, it'll take away a good bit of power but the engine is safe.

It's really not. Lol
Just gotta keep the numbers straight and in order.
This question has been asked a good bit.
I'm fairly confident that the ping sensor would retard the timing before any serious damage occurred but why chance it? Was trying to just make a point...
Pings = baaaad.... lol

Thank you for that...this will be my first crack at doing a tune modification and I'd like to get it right!!
I bought the truck new and have basically been running 92 octane since I got it...that being said, that tank purge you speak of would be if I was just now switching over to the 92 octane, correct?

I'll stick to stock, I have enough gray hair as it is.

Yeah, if you've been running 92 all along just load it, nothing to worry about.

You'll most likely have to exclude or make an exception for the ToyFlash 1.2.2 software so your security doesn't quarantine it...

Other than that it's all very straight forward. You can download and save the tunes directly from the flash manager.
It's easy, you'll get it.

I'm sure you've seen it, but the video is on this page...
Pretty straightforward...

Question...how do I find out what my current ECU Calibration is?
The ECU ID?
One of the first steps is the "Identify" button on the far left of P5 Flash Utility. That'll tell you which ECU you have, pic below.
When I did this, I had to email that into him to get the right tunes emailed back. Idk how exactly it works now... the tunes are available for download in Flash Manager for each ECU... much has changed. Lol
