That’s exactly what I was talking about, literally that product. Seems like a fun mod but practical for those with trailers holding work equipment.I've heard of this........don't know if this is what you're referring to..........http://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/rear-view-camera-anytime-kit-for-2016-tacoma
Nope......not a bad price.That’s not too expensive.
I run across those last week by accident on a google search......had to remember what the name was.......finally came to me.That’s exactly what I was talking about, literally that product. Seems like a fun mod but practical for those with trailers holding work equipment.
do you know which camera and adapter you used to make it all work?I have front and rear facing cameras I can switch switch between at any time. The rear one makes it really easy to hook up on a trailer and also keep an eye on when you're hauling. It also helps to see how close Tailgators are when you're driving a lifted truck
That's awesome! I've always seen people install a button or switch to switch between the cameras. I really wanna know exact what your set up is now. Been looking into this for a long time.haOn mine you hold down the navigation button and the front camera pops up then you just touch the screen to switch between front and rear camerasView attachment 17083View attachment 17084View attachment 17085View attachment 17086
I've heard of this also. That would kinda freak me out shifting to reverse at 70mph lolI’m not sure if the auto Tacoma’s work the same, but my buddy will put his ‘14 Tundra in R at anytime going down the road, 45-75mph, doesn’t matter. The only thing that happens is the backup camera comes on, he uses it to check the trailer hitch, etc,... and to freak me out. lol
I can pull my (manual) shifter over toward Reverse and trick the camera into coming on while going down the road. Someone with an auto want to research this? Or are we talking about completely different things?
What kind of head unit is this? Is that garmin GPS?On mine you hold down the navigation button and the front camera pops up then you just touch the screen to switch between front and rear camerasView attachment 17083View attachment 17084View attachment 17085View attachment 17086

Can you ground the parking brake wire on this one for any time DVD playing? When they were new I think around 1200. Now you can find used ones for a little over 400 or new ones I think for around 7 or 800
