I use shell 87 octane and my 17 trd runs great on it I stay at a little better than 20 miles per gallon and I check every fill upWith gas prices so low, I’ve been using 93 Octane. Only subjective data, but I seem to be getting 1.5 or so mpg less than with 89 octane.
I’m switching back.
When I first got my 19 with the 3.5 I was really concerned about the hesitation and performance issues that eveyone is talking about.During the test drive at the dealership none of this surfaced I'm assuming because of the route we took. Anyway, as mine got a few miles on it and the changes ive made mine now runs smooth, no hesitation, and performs pretty damn good for a v6.
Yep all the time.

That's what I did. Couldn't afford new so I bought used with low mileage.I test drove a few Tacos, and while they are not going to overwhelm anyone with power, they seemed to run, and shift fine. B is actually considering buying a Taco, since it seems she should keep away from Kia vehicles, they are magnets for being hit if she owns them. Instead of more debt, I'm trying to talk her into a used one instead of new.
