Audio system question

I am looking at 2016 and newer Tacomas and was wondering if if my Ipod will play through the audio system if plugged into the usb port located in the center console of the truck. I have all my music on that thing and just wondering. I have checked YouTube but it is not discussed. Thanks for the help.
 
Welcome to the forum! I have used an Ipod and now use a USB stick plugged in to play my tunes!
 
Thanks for the quick answers, I am ready to get a new Tacoma before the end of the year. It just seems like thete are not a lot of double cab long bed Sr5 on the lots in my area.
