Auto LSD

Can’t seem to find a thread where someone actually explains the benefits of Auto LSD in the snow/mud with 2wd Tacoma

Simply put, It slows down the wheel that has no traction so that power is sent to the wheel with traction. So it uses the brakes to act like a LSD.

So the automatic limited slip diff actually has nothing to do with the diff, its actually the brakes??????? So with traction control and an automatic LSD its a wonder these things will actually move it slippery conditions.

Ohhhh! LSD is for limited slip differential ? Huh? That what that's stands for ?I never would have made the connection.

A mechanical limited slip is better. This was just a way to save money by using something that was already there.
