Best bright white bulbs for 2017 Tacoma for a short girl who can’t see at night [emoji23]

Okay, I can see but I like the bright white because it illuminates more. I have the stock ones on a 2017 Tacoma Sport. And if anyone knows, are they easy to switch out? Thanks!!

The color isn't going to change what's illuminated. Brighter bulbs with projectors will still illuminate pretty much the same areas but may start blinding oncoming vehicles.

Even if they’re not on bright? I switched them out on my old Tacoma and it went from that dull yellow to bright white and made a world of difference without blinding oncomers.

Reflective housing is different and more likely to blind people. Also if the bulbs were in there a long time, they can dim a bit over time.
 
You’ll blind other ppl If you get cheap led’s with a crappy beam pattern. I have xenon depot led’s. They do a good job. The gtr gen 3 at headlight revolution seem to be better.
Pretty simple install
 
I have a 2016 Sport and changed them to the OPT 7 Boltzen AC CANBUS Series: 35w HID Kit. Using the 5000 K Bright White Bulbs. It’s a world of difference over stock halogens.

So which is it? Above you said projector housings may start to blind people and here you say reflective housings are more likely to blind people? Also, what do you define as "long time?" OP said 2017 Sport.
I'm not ragging on you, I'd just like some "clarity." ;)

Both style of housings will blind oncoming traffic with the wrong bulbs. Reflective will be worse.

She mentioned she put new bulbs on her old Tacoma, not the 17. If you see drivers with a dim bulb and a bright bulb on the road, time to replace both.

I feel that the OEM lighting is enough. Yes, I have been on unlit roads here in CA. The high beams come on then and I see just fine. Check eyes?

I agree that stock seem bright enough, for now. I just find it strange that DRL's are LED and L, H, and fogs are halogen. The contrast in color looks "off" to me. Toyota...consistently, inconsistent.

I have 20/20 vision. I’m a flat lander so there’s no reflection so the light gets lost vs driving in the mountains or seriously wooded areas.

Do they blind people [emoji23]? I am concerned about oncoming traffic but I’m also wanting better illumination.
 
Im using them in other vehicles also. Never caused an accident that Im aware of. I got flashed more with the factory hids on my f150 that I traded for the Taco. Vleds is a reputable company with a good warranty and customer service. Im sure there are much cheaper options, but, they are just cheaper options.
