Blacking out rims

Okay so I'm wanting to black out my rims on
And since I go off road every now and then, I was going to take black bed liner to the rims and front grill. Any input on how it'll turn out?

I know several people that have done it and it just chips away. My rims are blacked out but I had them dipped and bought a black grill

I second that. Dipping your rims is a very cost effective way to black out. If done right they'll last a long time without redipping

Yeah I believe that plasti dipping would be better than bed liner. I have had mine dipped for a while now, no problems.
