Bluetooth pairing question

Hopingsomeone can heip with what I may be doing wrong...when I pair up my phone to the truck the phone works fine but I cannot get my text messages to work or the audio pairing which says not available so I could play music off my phone through my system....Any help greatly appreciated!Thanks

I have the same problem since i switched to a iphone 7. I have the premium technology package but not the jbl

I think you have to use a data tether to your truck for messaging.

Go into your Bluetooth settings on your phone and select the truck's system and hit the little info button. Make sure you have the "Show notifications" switch is on. That should do it.
