Let me see those toppers if you have one. I also need advice on which brand. A.R.E? Leer? How much did you spend? I have a short bed TRD off road and I want to get it set up for some woods living this Fall/winter. Also, does anyone have some experience with the truck bed tents? Seems cheaper and cool but I'm aiming for an A.R.E right now.

That thing is Tooooo Low!
I got a Thule rack from Leer it's got about 4" more than the cab matching! I guess it depends on how big you are!!

I didn't want the mid rise, most garages around me are only a few inches taller than my cab, so a mid rise with a rack wouldn't work to well... As for the price, it was about 2300, but I added the HD roof, adjustable rack on top, front removable slider, contractor window on both sides, with sliders in them, carpeted inside and a close hanger inside the roof of the shell, all in all I pretty much custom made mine to what I want...

I'm unfortunately 6'4" 270 lbs and I wanted a bit more height ! With almost 5" of rear lift,and cap roof rack the Taco is high enough now!
