I have been looking on Craigslist up to $6000 and I ran into this. Just wondering what you guys think for a first car (truck). Haven't seen it yet but planning on. Appreciate any help.

That’s actually a great idea. If they pay some for it they’ll take better care of it.
It’s just human nature to take better care of a car that you pay for as a kid.

Chevy traverse or gmc acadia are usually found pretty cheap. The depreciation on them is crazy but its good if u want used.

Exactly the way I think, is not that I don't want to pay for it. Like you said, they will take care of it because they had to work for it. Plus in the insurance they have to put some money in. They got to learn that nothing is for free.

The first car I saw with a CD player was one of those. When I saw that I did felt like a monkey trying to figure something out.

I kinda wish they still had tape decks in cars. I’ve got a lot of good old cassettes.
My first CD player in a ‘84 bronco was a discman Velcroed to the floor with the tape converter plugged in. Every time I hit a bump the CD would skip. I ran that setup until 2003. Lol
