Code B0136

My airbag light has been on for over a year and the dealer told me the code was my LH seat belt pretensioner. I've installed the part, disconnected the battery, connected the pretensioner. After reconnecting the negative cable to the batter and turning the ignition back on, the code and light are both coming up and the code still won't clear. Wth...I don't know what else to do......help!

May be a bad clock spring. Pretty common issue on these trucks.

If I replaced the faulty part, would the airbag light go off automatically or will I have to clear the code)

I think there was some sort of recall that felt with that
