Why the F do people have to be so negative on individuals installing cold air intakes? Do you pay for it? Is it in your truck? Do you have to look at it? Pretty sure answers are NO!
So let people do what they want with their truck and money! No reason for your negative comments, just take your little thumb on your phone and scroll right by topics you don’t agree with!

My comment's not negative. I didnt say he shouldn't have wasted his money. My comment is based on fact. Cold air intakes in general wont save increase your mpg so that shouldn't be reason to spend $300 on it. If you want it because it's cool looking and you have the extra money go for it - i would.

That's the interwebs. If you share anything their are always going to be people with opposing opinions that want to express them and they feel pretty freely to do so, which I mean is fair I guess if you're putting yourself in that position.
It's your truck, not everyone is gonna like the color, trim, tires, rims or any other accessories you choose/chose. I'm glad you're happy with it and good for you for putting in the labor of love yourself. It always feels good. [emoji16][emoji106]

l bought my truck for me. l buy stuff for the truck because l want too. Not because people online say it's okay.

Don’t stop Posting pictures of your mods. We like pictures and are happy for your upgrades. Most of the reply’s seem to be letting you know that you’re not getting more cold air into the engine from this set up and that is true. Also probably not going to see any gains from this mod. No one sees it unless you pop the hood. You will hear it and that’s why most people put them on is for the sound. You post stuff on a public forum where people can leave comments be ready for some flack.
@kp.taco posted a picture of him and his kid having a fun time making memories together and that picture got turned into a brony taco picture.
@Bogunn put a bull bar on his 2017 Tacoma and we still like to give him crap about pushing shopping carts and it being Aussie approved. I put a 3” spacer lift on my 2017 off-road and got a tone of crap for it. Anyone who puts themselves out on the web is going to have people who agree and disagree. You do you and enjoy your build.

Jeff, I waoul like to apologize to you for the comment I made about your cold air intake playing for itself in 14 years. What I failed to do was tell you that it looks great! I just dont have the extra money to justify installing one on my truck because unlike the way it looks and sounds. It would have to save me boucou bucks in MPGs. So again I apologize if for my rude comments about your Taco, it really does look great.
