Courtesy / Puddle Lights Wire

Anyone know where and what color the wire is that sends the signal to the interior dome lights to come on when you lock/unlock or open your doors?

I'm trying to wire a relay to that wire for the signal to switch the relay to turn on under carriage lights (courtesy/puddle lights)

I have tried splicing so many wires and can't find the signal one.

Before splicing randomly, id suggest getting a test light.

Then, probe the pins while using ur other hand, or having a friend depress the plunger switch on the door to open and close the circuit. Remember, there should be a delay when its turning off due to the dimming feature.

Why waste your time on puddle lights? Are you afraid of falling in one over your head? You could easily buy LEDS for under the truck and power and switch them in no time. No dome light fuse in any of the fuse locations?

They are led lights on a switch as well but would like for the wife to see while getting in and out.... If she stays happy I continue to buy more stuff.
