yeah the noise you are hearing the "clicking" is the ABS pumping brake fluid to the wheels.
Hi Mad Taco...thanks for your reply...I appreciate it. Can you provide me with some details about where you found this information or your source of your feeling that the sound I describe is normal and is the ABC system? I cannot find a statement that this sound is normal in any Toyota documents other than "you may hear noises from the engine compartment or under the truck" in the manual. Has nothing to do with DAC lol. But after doing this don't you have sand where you don't want it?

Thank you. I downloaded the PDF and I read it. It does say the diff lock cannot be used with MTS. Although I could not find where it specifically says not to use the locker with CC, I am assuming the three systems are not to be used in conjunction with eachother. I agree. I just spoke with my assistant service manager and he recommends not using the MTS, CC, and rear diff lock at the same time. So if I am in CC and one of my rear wheels start to spin and I am stuck, I will deactivate CC and activate rear diff lock to help me out of the problem. I am impressed that the off road tacomas have those three systems to help out. Of course as the manual says , unlock the rear diff as soon as the vehicle moves and use the MTS or CC is needed.
