2017 taco w/18k miles off road trd dealer recommending replacement of master cylinder calipers and wheel cylinders
Anyone else with this issue ?
Dealer say will not cover due to 3 lift kit installed w extended brake hoses ¿ image002.jpeg

By 'creeping master cylinder, do you mean the pedal goes to the floor with no loss of fluid, or is the brake pedal just spongy? Spongy pedal means either air in the lines and/or brake hoses bulging. A pedal that sinks to the floor with no fluid loss means the master cylinder is defective and is internally bypassing the fluid pressure.

How a lift causes this is beyond me. Easy out for the manufacturer.

I had a 3” lift on my 2017 and didn’t need extended brake lines. That sucks they are F’ing with you on it. How are they saying that the lift and brake lines made the master cylinder and wheel cylinders malfunction? What exactly is the issue?
If you are able to prove that a 3” lift and extended brake lines are not the cause they should fix it under warranty.
I’d go to another dealer and call corporate and start a case if you know the aftermarket parts didn’t cause the issue.

I just now proved to the stealership that my upgraded rear brake hoses are from a reputable mfg ( toytec) . As per lift kits wrench heads have rights

MAGNUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT
US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) . For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov.

Lets see what other excuses they have
