Drive shaft

I have a 2009 TRD Taco , and my drive shaft broke on me at 142 550 miles. So I look it up
Its a service bulletins are only honored if you mention the issue to the service tech... Toyota is not obligated to inform you of service bulletins....

Yeah I had mine replaced a year ago, I notice the issue when my U joints went bad so I ended up replacing the whole system didn’t cost to much about $639

Well today May 14, 2019 the dealer will change everything for free cost part and labour.

Well if you paid with a proper receipt you could take it to the dealer and they will refund you all cost .

My 09 TRD Tacoma has 175k on it I still haven’t had any issues with the drive shaft. I’ll have to keep an eye on it thanks! I’ve had it for 4 years and make sure to grease it with the oil changes I do
