E.D.T.... every darned time

so that low tire pressure light came on in the Gen2 out wheelin' the blizzard and sub-zero temps
stopped into the DT to get the pressures checked, it seemed a bit below 30psi triggered it?
had them fill adjust the tires up a smidge and the light did not go out!
checked back at another DT and all pressures were ok

BUT, then at the tacoJuice station i was doing the 4 corner check AND a valve stem cap was missing that was not fully put back on at the DT and wobbled itself right off somewhere :(

can U believe it?!
the friggin' air compressors blew out at 2 neighborhood DT due to xtreme cold

i did git them to git me a replacement valve stem cap for the one that wobbled off

My handy psi pocket checker will not fit on the new stem. It fits the old one and the other 3
How am I supposed to spot check the air! ?
Now I have to go back to that DT and have them explain this all to me
Dammit if they installed the improper one

i don't have any idea about that, i already have one that works well so far

are these valve stems not universal?
Plus the TPMS light will not go back off after the new one put in
but i will wait for warmer temps to see if it goes off

i know absolut nothing about TPMS sensors :(
always have spot checked tires MANually for many decades
now i gotta hassle and richard around with some new tech FML

press and hold until it blinks is what i did
then it came back on constant

Was told that depending on the brand sensor, you need the relearn tool to enter the new codes in the trucks ecu.

ok yes i did hear the DT manager get asked this question by the tire tech handling this in front of me and he said no need to programme the new one

The truck's ECU will need to know the ID codes of the new TPMS sensors. This is the "reprogramming". If DT didn't take that step, then the system will not recognize the new TPMS and the warning light will stay on.

i am hoping the yota boot kits i ordered come off of backOrder and I can figure if the original yota axles are still good even after losing most ALL the grease on the inboard side, and can look into trying to learn to reboot them whenever these Napa axles crap out after the warranty period.

3+ months later
still on backorder, they are

I'd cancel the order and find a different source.

Running for 3 months in the current road conditions with damaged boots and no grease in the CV axle joints.........you probably need to replace the axles. I suspect the bearings and wear surfaces are suffering corrosion damage.

But I'm sure a set of Toyota boots and new Toyota grease will cure it.

cannot locate other source

there no aftermarkets for these boot kits that i am aware of

last i talked to parts counter there was nationWide backorder of over 500+ on this item
