Toyota told me its a wire in some where thats lose or has been chew through

Toyota says i have to get my ecu reflash. Is that for real? I replaced my speed sensor a and when i clear it the code comes back on.

I feel like i missed something.
Has toyota been diagnosing this for free twice now?

Code coulda been stored... shoulda been stored... no ecu code came up?
